Santa Clara, California – rawrmaan LLC keeps the gaming standard high with a completely revamped 2.0 release to Slide, the hit game that reached #1 Free on the App Store charts earlier this year with over 4.5 million downloads. Slide 2.0 makes an unprecedented statement by allowing Free users to earn everything without spending money, including the removal of ads. Players of the update can earn or In-App Purchase “Keys” to unlock Upgrades which enhance gameplay and bring some color into the formerly-monochrome game.
Slide (formerly named Slide to Unlock) is a unique game that mocks Apple’s “slide to unlock” feature by challenging players to unlock sliders as quickly as they can. The game has received wide praise for its simple yet addictive gameplay, stunning graphics and familiarity to iPhone and iPod owners. In Q2 2012, the game reached the App Store’s Top 10 Free charts in over 35 countries and was featured on top tech sites such as Mashable, Cult of Mac, and AppAdvice. The new update takes gameplay to the next level by allowing players to upgrade their sliders and get perks such as Double Points, Save Stars and a small chance to unlock all sliders on screen.
The 2.0 release is a new beginning for Slide and lays the groundwork for future features such as Slide Battle multiplayer, custom slider styles, and unlockable app backgrounds.
