Electronic Arts’ stranglehold on the football videogame market has loosened up a bit, as 2K Sports announced it is working on All-Pro Football 2K8. This marks the first time the amazing 2K football series will take to the gridiron since EA snagged the exclusive NFL license.
All-Pro Football 2K8 will be available this summer on the next-generation systems.
2K Sports was vague on details about which players will be included in the rosters (they may be fictitious, or they may be “old” players), and the company didn’t exactly shed light on any gameplay features. But the fact that it’s on its way is welcome news, as Visual Concepts has always made the best sports games (in this editor’s opinion).
