Sierra Entertainment today announced its second video game starring hip-hop star 50 Cent. Called 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, the game will ship for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall.
Although the content may seem niche, the gameplay is definitely mainstream. For example, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand video game will feature multiplayer drop-in and drop-out co-op via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, will include interactive counter-kills, is set to include driving sequences and, in a weird turn of events, will also include aerial combat.
Our bet: the latter will take place as 50 Cent jumps from the stage into the mosh pit.
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will also include exclusive unreleased music from 50 Cent and G-Unit.
50 Cent and G Unit‘s Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and DJ Whoo Kid will star and provide voice and likeness in the game.
The fictional story will let gamers play as a hip-hop star (a licensed, real-life one) in an all-out battle to protect 50 Cent’s assets and to collect payment from a crooked overlord.
