A new block-based game, Trile, has come out for iOS just in time for the weekend. Trile is played by filling hexagons with triangular tiles that come in different tile-sets. Filling two or three hexagons with a single tile-set nets the player bonus points. Positioning the tiles in order to achieve these bonus points without running out of space is what makes Trile challenging. Players can also pick and choose from several game options to make the game more exciting.
Choose the “Random” option and tile sets become randomized. The “Timer” options adds a 60 second countdown, but filling in hexagons adds time so filling hexagons quickly is key. Choose the “Overlay” option and tile sets get one of two overlays, but if a player sets two tile sets of different colors in a hexagon, the hexagon is destroyed.
Trile will be updated frequently. The first patch is due out in mid to late April and will include a new gameplay option for players that includes power-ups.
