Dallas, Texas – Capparsa today is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Doodle Space Fighter (DSF), a new game for the iPhone. DSF is a shooting arcade game with role-playing game elements. Earn money as you fight through endless waves of enemies and spend it on cool ship upgrades like better weapon systems, larger shields, and a faster health regeneration time.
The game puts you in the pilot’s seat of a fighter ship in the doodle universe. You need to protect the world that exists in your hands. Ships will fly in from the top of your phone and attempt to get past you but you can use your speed and your lasers to put up a strong fight.
As a rookie, you’ll be given a rookie’s ship: It has 3 shields (that regenerate every 20 seconds if you take a hit) and a basic single laser weapon system.
As the time ticks by and you stay alive longer, more ship types appear and they get faster, stronger and more aggressive. You’ll enter into dangerous asteroid fields that threaten to destroy your ship. Chaos erupts as ships appear faster and faster.
If you feel that you’re pushing the limits of your ship, don’t fret because you’ll earn money every time you play that can be spent on some awesome ship upgrades to keep you alive longer the next time. They include:
* Higher shield levels (hit points) for the ship: Up to 7 shields at max
* A faster regeneration time: At max, your health will regen every three seconds
* Bigger and better weapon systems: At max, your weapon will fire four lasers at once, with two shooting to the sides for a huge weapon spread
The universe is not all bad: There will be random power ups throughout the mission that will appear to help you. They include:
* A dollar bonus amount
* A shield that makes you temporarily invincible and heals you back to full if you need it
* A warp speed upgrade that makes you temporarily invincible, fly at incredible speed, and destroy everything in your path
