With PS3 owners aflutter over Killzone 2, Resistance 2 and Infamous, one might be tempted to think first-party games are all the system will offer for the next year. Not so fast, says CDV, which today announced it will bring the action RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Angel to the PlayStation 3 this fall.
Developed by Ascaron, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel features an Oblivion-like seamless world spanning more than 22 square miles.
This PS3 version has a few enhancements that RPG fans will want to note. Most notable: drop-in/drop-out cooperative play and drop/in/drop-out split-screen cooperative play. It will also include various competitive multiplayer modes.
Compared to the Xbox 360 version, the PS3 SKU of Sacred 2 will also include enhanced graphics and 5.1 Dolby Digital support.
DailyGame will have more hands-on impressions of Sacred 2 in the week leading up to E3 2008. Stay tuned.
