The latest installment of the Crash Bandicoot franchise shipped to retail today. Called Crash Mind Over Mutant, the game is available today on Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2 and PSP (PlayStation Portable).
Crash: Mind Over Mutant introduces a few new gameplay wrinkles into the Crash series, including the ability to control enemies once they’re jacked and storing mutants in Crash’s pocket, then upgrading them and utilizing their powers for himself. Players can also roam through Wumpa Island in a two-player cooperative mode with Crash’s sister Coco.
In Crash: Mind Over Mutant, a rejuvenated Neo Cortex is taking over the world one brain at a time and has devised a new plot with N. Brio: a text-messaging device that controls both mutant and bandicoot minds. Players can explore intersecting worlds based on the mutant that Crash stores in his pocket.
