With just a few days left until November, Sony’s announcement about the November 2014 PlayStation Plus free games was due to come soon. Apparently it wasn’t coming soon enough for hardcore PS4 and PS3 owners, though, as the community forced a leak of the November 2014 PlayStation Plus free games before Sony was ready.
Following its now months-old tradition, PS4 owners will get three tites as part of the PS Plus November 2014 free games lineup. One of them was predicted last week, as The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is headed to the PlayStation 4 in November free for PS Plus subscribers. The game, billed as part Legend of Zelda and part Smash TV, is scheduled to release November 4 for both the PS4 and PS Vita.
PlayStation 4 owners who are PS Plus members will also receive SteamWorld Dig and Escape Plan as part of the November 2014 PlayStation Plus free game lineup. SteamWorld Dig sounds especially interesting, as it’s an odd combination of side-scrolling Old West shooter a the 1980s arcade game Dig Dug.
PlayStation 3 owners will get two games in the PS Plus November 2014 roster. First is an arcade shooter along the lines of the old-school 1941 called Luftrausers. In the game you try to complete various objectives while defeating enemies and upgrading your ship.
The other PS3 title included in the November 2014 PlayStation Plus free games lineup is Frozen Synapse Prime, a strategic shooter. Frozen Synapse Prime may end up being a Cross-Buy title with PS Vita, though those details weren’t make clear in the leak and may become more apparent once Sony makes its official announcement.
Speaking of PlayStation Vita, the leak indicated that PS Vita owners really do (once again) get the best deal. The November 2014 PlayStation Plus free games for Vita owners include The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Steamworld Dig, Luftrausers, the Hungry Horde and Escape Plan. If Frozen Synapse Prime ends up included as a Cross-Buy as well, Vita owners will be sitting pretty with six free games in November for PS Plus members.
