Rock Revolution, the newest music/rhythm-based franchise on the market, shipped to retail today as a bundle for both the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Rock Revolution Bundle includes a copy of Rock Revolution and Konami’s new drum set peripheral.
Rock Revolution was created by the company that developed DanceDanceRevolution, Karaoke Revolution, Beatmania and Guitar Freaks, so it’s not coming completely out of left field.
Rock Revolution’s drum kit features six drum pads and a kick pedal, while the game itself includes more than 40 rock songs that span a broad range of bands and eras. When players take the stage, they can choose from up to 13 characters and perform in authentic venues. Additionally, up to six players can rock together online, or up to three players offline can jam in modes such as versus, co-op and band battle.
