Dead Space was one of the most intense, uniquely frightening games on the PS3 and Xbox 360 when it released just over a year ago. Amazingly, EA found a way to bring the Dead Space experience to the Nintendo Wii in the form of Dead Space: Extraction, a most-definitely M-rated game and a terror-induced experience that’s often missing from Nintendo’s newest console.
Dead Space: Extraction is the prequel to the original Dead Space as it follows the lives of several members of the Aegis VII colony as they fight off the initial Necromorph invasion. With controls built specifically for the Wii, Dead Space: Extraction mixes House of the Dead-like gameplay all the way down to co-op elements for two friends to fend off Necromorphs at the same time. Players can even jump in and out of Extraction co-op mode with a simple flick of the button on the Wii Remote.
