Opening the Gran Turismo 5 Collector's Edition — With Video

Gran Turismo 5 doesn’t hit stores until Wednesday, but for all those hardcore PS3 racing fans out there who can’t wait to see what’s inside the Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition box, we’ve got just what the doctor ordered: a video of unwrapping it.

For starters, the Gran Turismo 5 Blu-ray disc obviously includes the game, complete with more than 1000 cars, dozens of tracks, a new Course Maker, stereoscopic 3D (I’d love to check this out) and kart racing, among other features. There’s also an exclusive limited-edition 1:43 scale diecast 2009 Nissan GT-R Spec V with custom Gran Turismo livery, produced by collectible car maker Kyosho.

But let’s not stop there. The $99 package also includes an exclusive key chain; an exclusive numbered certificate; and exclusive “Apex” Car Guide with more than 300 pages dedicated to advanced GT5 driving techniques, a crash course in modern automotive history and track reference material; and five exclusive DLC “Chrome Line” edition cars of the Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro, BMW M3 Coupe, Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640, Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe and Shelby Cobra 427.
