With the Grammy Awards just concluded and all of musicdom up in arms over the Justin Bieber “upset,” isn’t it nice to know that the musical world can still provide a sense of stability? Take, for example, Activision’s involvement in the industry. Whenever you need a rock, you can always count on Activision to release some downloadable content (DLC) for one of its ubiquitous “Hero” games. And today, that’s just what the company delivered via a new three-pack of songs for DJ Hero 2.
Three exclusive tracks from Australian electronic music act Pendulum have just been made available for DJ Hero 2. Called the Pendulum Mix Pack, the three-song bundle includes songs from the band’s newest album, Immersion.
The three tracks in the Pendulum Mix Pack are: Watercolour, Set Me On Fire and Salt In The Wounds.
Activision’s Pendulum Mix Pack is available today on the Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace for 640 Microsoft Points. The PS3 version is available now on the PlayStation Store for $7.99. And all three tracks will be released as downloadable singles for the Nintendo Wii for 300 Wii Points.
