It may not be the traditional hunting season, but in Mastiff’s mind, that makes it the prime time to release a new Remington hunting game for the Wii and PC. Called Remington Super Slam Hunting: Alaska, the game is now available at retail in North America.
In Remington Super Slam Hunting: Alaska, the latest edition in the best-selling outdoor action franchise, players can use a variety of digital guns and bows — all based on their real-world counterparts — as they take down some of the most terrifying game on the planet. The game’s weapons include rifles, pistols and bows, as well as an array of scopes and accessories.
In Remington Super Slam Hunting: Alaska, players can track 25 of the biggest and most aggressive wildlife through 19 levels of Alaskan landscapes. The game supports up to four players in co-op and versus modes, and in-game successes can be posted to an online leaderboard.
Remington is featured prominently throughout the Super Slam Hunting series, as you probably gathered from the game’s title. As such, the company has included a host of Remington firearms including the 870 Express Shotgun and Model 7 CDL hunting rifle. Also included are the Marlin Model 1894 Cowboy, the Model 700 XCR II Camo, the Bolt Action Model 770, the Model R-15, the Model R-25, the Model 11-87 Sportsman Field, the Versa Max Synthetic Semi-Auto 12 Gauge, the Model 11-87 Sportsman Super Mag ShurShot Turkey 12 Gauge and the Model 887 Nitro Mag Bone Collector 12 Gauge.
The Remington weaponry complements additional in-game hunting gear from companies including Wiley X, producer of ballistic sunglasses, and Magnum Research, the manufacturer of the magnum-caliber Desert Eagle Pistol.
