A four-pack of songs from the Foo Fighters, including two from their new album, will be headed to Rock Band 3 on May 10, along with singles from Run-DMC and Lordi. All the DLC songs will be available for download on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii by accessing the Rock Band 3 Music Store.
If you’d not heard, the Foo FIghters’ new album, Wasting Light, debuted at #1 on Spin and has rated pretty highly in Rolling Stone. The Foo Fighters Pack 04 DLC for Rock Band 3 will feature the first single off Wasting Light, “Rope” (which also features a Pro Guitar/Bass upgrade), as well as “Walk,” also from Wasting Light. The Foo Fighters DLC will also include “Long Road to Ruin” from the album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace; and “Stacked Actors” from the group’s album There Is Nothing Left to Lose.
Harmonix will also be releasing Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades next week for two back-catalog Foo Fighters songs: “Monkey Wrench” and “The Pretender.” Fans who have already downloaded those songs will be able to purchase a simple upgrade that will allow them to play Pro Guitar and Pro Bass on those songs in Rock Band 3.
Next week’s Rock Band 3 DLC drop will also feature “Hard Rock Hallelujah” from the Finnish heavy metal band Lordi, and Run-DMC’s “King of Rock.”
