Master Chief isn’t dead, and neither is his Halo franchise. But come Nov. 15, he’s going to look a bit younger than he has in a while, as Microsoft will release Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary edition, a 1080p and online-enabled remake of the original Halo that launched 10 years ago on the Xbox. Don’t believe us about Master Chief looking younger? Then check out the new developer commentary video below, which features a first look at the reimagined campaign experience.
The in-game video below is the first time anyone outside Microsoft has seen the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary campaign, so we figured you’d want to take a look. The video was released at Comic-Con, which for some wacky reason seems to have become a bit of an E3 light….
In addition to the high-def campaign shown above, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will include such new features as co-op play over Xbox Live, a re-imagined bundle of some of the most beloved multiplayer maps in Halo history, new challenges and new story to uncover. What exactly the “new story” is hasn’t yet been announced, but it’s got us intrigued to learn more. We’ll bring you additional details as soon as we learn them.
