A new zombie update for Call of Duty: Black Ops, called Rezurrection, is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3, with Xbox Live getting first dibs on the latest Black Ops zombie outing. Call of Duty: Black Ops – Rezurrection will eat brains be available on Xbox Live on Aug. 23.
Fans who purchased the Black Ops Hardened or Prestige Editions and already own the four re-mastered maps will not be charged for the other contents in the Rezurrection pack: the new “Moon” map, the soundtrack and the theme.
“Moon” represents the climax of the Call of Duty Zombies saga and is the first in the series to drop zombie-slaying players into low-G lunar battlegrounds. Rezurrection’s Moon will be “the most challenging and thrilling Zombies adventure yet,” says Activision, with new outrageous weapons, high-tech gear and a bloodthirsty undead menace.
The Rezurrection content pack includes the all-new Moon level, four re-mastered levels of Zombie lore — Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese — an enhanced Zombies Soundtrack including three tracks never before available for purchase, and a new Zombies Moon theme.
Players who don’t own the Black Ops Hardened or Prestige Editions will have to buy Rezurrection for 1200 Microsoft Points.
Neither a release date nor pricing for the PS3 version of Rezurrection was announced.
