The sequel to the best-selling fitness game of the year will debut on Xbox 360 Kinect next year, as Majesco has announced that Zumba Fitness Rush will be exclusive to Xbox 360 Kinect and ship in February 2012.
Zumba Fitness Rush will include 42 new music tracks, updated choreography and a variety of new dance styles and arenas in which players can dance their way into shape. Six Zumba instructors get players moving to the beat, including celebrity instructors Beto Perez, Tanya Beardsley and Gina Grant, plus new stars exclusive to the Kinect game: Kass Martin, Jason Thompson and Erica Pierce. Each star instructor personally guides players through choreography that ranges in style from Merengue and Samba to Bollywood and Latin Pop.
Using the Kinect – again, Zumba Fitness Rush is exclusive to Kinect – will let players dance hands-free as the Kinect hardware accurately tracks their every move. A Progress Tracker will add-up calories burned, grade dance styles and display trophies, stats and overall rank. The game will include three game modes: Single Song, Full Class and Zumba Party mode.
