Lichfield, United Kingdom- Announcing that The Innocent Devils Ltd, the developer of Travel Guru, has just released a major update for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. Travel Guru 1.3.1, a world geography trivia quiz game, uses an extensive database of thousands of questions to test players’ knowledge of the world around them. Users can download a demo of the app for free, which includes one round of the quiz, but additional free rounds are available by posting on Facebook and Twitter, or by simply rating the app on iTunes. The full version of Travel Guru 1.3.1 and additional “Quiz Packs” are available via in-app purchase.

This app is a handy learning tool, but it was primarily designed to be fun. Players can choose which of the five question categories to receive questions from in each round, or they can receive random questions from all categories. They also have the option of simply using the app’s huge database to research specific information on any country or world capital.
Travel Guru 1.3.1 Question Categories include:
* Pin the Tail on the World – Pinpoint the location of a city or country on a map
* Statistics – Answer questions about statistics on different countries, such as population
* Picture Spin – Guess the picture before it stops spinning
* Multiple Choice – You are given a question with 4 possible answers to choose from
* Name a Country – Gives you a specific letter of the alphabet, and you have to name all the countries you can think of which begin with that letter
Users can opt to go head to head with friends or family members, or use the online multiplayer function. They can even check their standings and achievements with the online leader board. In addition to this update, the developer has announced plans for a competition among users. The contest will involve users submitting original photos to appear within the game.
