Charlotte, North Carolina – McLegacy LLC today is pleased to introduce A Zombie Booth: The Dead Walking Photo Booth 1.0 free for iOS, its new entertainment app that takes any portrait photo and transforms it into a detailed, photorealistic visualization of that person as a zombie. Unlike similar apps, which may add a scar or blood to a face, A Zombie Booth produces truly ghoulish, frightening alterations. The app features automatic facial recognition, instant image processing, compatibility with newly shot photos or Camera Roll photos, save to Camera Roll, sharing via integrated Facebook and Twitter connectivity, and email messaging with the attached photo.
Feature Highlights:
* Perform facial recognition and transform yourself (or family and friends) into zombies
* Take pictures or use pictures from the Library on the phone or Facebook
* Save pictures to the iDevice for later use
* Post pictures on Facebook or Twitter with a personal message
* Send pictures through email with a personal message
We’re all infected. Whatever it is, we all carry it. Do you wonder what you will look like as a ‘walker’? Get a preview of the future you! It’s not will it happen … it’s when …” To view friends or themselves as they will appear when they become one of the undead, the app prompts the user to supply a photo. The picture, whether shot live or chosen from the Photo Library, should be a full frontal, portrait view.
With the photo selected, A Zombie Booth lets users align movable overlays, indicating the precise position of each eye, the mouth, and nose. Touching any target overlay opens a moving magnified thumbnail, making placement especially easy and accurate. Touching the Next button produces the finished zombie transformation.
All flesh tones take on a sickly green hue, leaving the background and clothing unaffected. Eyes are bloodshot, the face elongated, and blood drips from around the mouth. Appearing as if they were shot through one eye at close range, the right eye socket is dark and surrounded by thickened blood splatter. With photographic proof of another victim of the zombie apocalypse, users are ready to share their transformed photos with friends and family via Facebook or Twitter, or send a personal email message containing the disturbing image.
“Simply take a facial photo or upload one from your phone library or Facebook and at a touch of a button, you’ve been ‘zombified,’ stated Cedric McClary of McLegacy LLC. “Images can be shared with friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, email, and text message. This app is fun for all ages.”
Device Requirements:
* iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5, iPod touch (3rd/4th/5th generation), and iPad
* Requires iOS 5.1 or later
