New details have surfaced for Assassin’s Creed Revelations, the fourth game in Ubisoft’s franchise that weaves real-world history and global conspiracies into an ancient war between Assassins and Templars. In Assassin’s Creed Revelations, master assassin Ezio Auditore will walk in the footsteps of his legendary mentor, Altaïr, on a journey to recover five ancient seals that hold the keys to the future of the Assassins brotherhood. The perilous path will take Ezio to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region.

As Ezio Auditore, players will wield the lethal skills of a wiser, more efficient assassin. Armed with new weapons and abilities including the hookblade, bomb crafting and a heightened Eagle Sense, players will also be able to play as Altair, the hero of the original Assassin’s Creed, in addition to Ezio.
The landscapes of Assassin’s Creed Revelations will include Masyaf, the mountain stronghold of the Assassins during the Third Crusade, and the vibrant and exotic Constantinople, the jewel of the Ottoman Empire in the 16th Century. Meanwhile, gamers will meet new NPCs such as fellow master assassin Yusuf Tazim, Prince Suleiman (destined to become one of the greatest monarchs in history), and Sofia Sorto, a simple woman who vies for Ezio’s heart.
And yes, the acclaimed online multiplayer experience will return in Assassin’s Creed Revelations, but with several refinements, more modes, more maps and new characters.
