A new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer has hit with all the subtlety of a batarang to the face. Reason being: the latest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer is the first time we’ve been able to see actual Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay footage from the PS4 and Xbox One game.
The new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer, called “Evening the Odds,” showcases Scarecrow’s return to Gotham City. Scarecrow is scheming to unite the Rogues Gallery and destroy Batman once and for all. You know, because that’s what villains in Gotham City do.
As the citizens flee and criminal gangs take control, the Dark Knight himself evens the odds by taking to the streets in the legendary Batmobile. It’s never a really fair fight when Batman hops into that thing, as you’ll see in this new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer that shows him igniting a fight that will decide the future of the city he’s sworn to protect.
If you haven’t done so already, we recommend you pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight from Amazon. The game’s bound to be a hot seller, so you may as well guarantee your copy.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the finale to the Arkham series. Batman will face his ultimate threat as the Scarecrow unites an epic roster of super villains including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn. Fortunately for the Caped Crusader, the game makes the Batmobile drivable for the first time in the franchise.
The addition of this re-imagined Batmobile, which you’ll see in the Batman: Arkham Knight trailer below, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.
Frankly, I’m just stoked we can see actual Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay footage for the first time. The fact that it also shows the Batmobile in action is sweet, meaty gravy.
