The Xbox 360 is getting two new Xbox Live Arcade games this Wednesday, with Brain Challenge and Bliss Island both scheduled to hit Microsoft’s digital-distribution channel.
Brain Challenge, available for 800 Microsoft Points, is a brain-training program that helps players develop stress-management skills through a wide variety of games. A personal coach helps players develop their abilities in five areas of cognitive function: logic, math, memory, visual thinking and concentration. The Daily Test Mode lets players undergo a series of brain exercises, while Stress Mode tests players’ abilities to stay calm under stress.
For those looking for a more-relaxing experience, Creative Mode allows players to relax and explore their imagination, while Child Test lets players play and share their exercises with younger people. For competitive players, Brain Challenge also features multiplayer support for up to four players offline and online, as well as detailed stats and graphs where players can track their overall performance and progression.
Bliss Island, the second game available on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday this week, sees players assume the role of Hoshi the Zwooph, a mystical blue creature that emits precise puffs of air to create clouds. Player smust help Hoshi become the Bliss Island champion by winning more than 25 challenges across nine levels. Players can also challenge friends online. Bliss Island will cost 400 Microsoft Points.
