After what seemed like a development period more in line with that of Duke Nukem Forever, Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway finally released today for both the PS3 and Xbxo 360. Developed by Gearbox and published by Ubisoft, Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway is the third chapter in the companies’ WWII shooter franchise.
Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway follows in the squad-based footsteps of its predecessors by focusing on authenticity and intense real-world action. The game puts players in the shoes of Matt Baker, who’s fighting through Operation Market Garden — the largest airborne operation of World War II — with Joe Hartsock and the rest of the 101st Airborne Division.
“Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway has turned out to be the most authentic, intense and action-oriented re-creation of true history ever offered as interactive entertainment, said Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software.
Those are big claims, to be sure. If you’d like to see whether they’re true, you can find Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway in stores today for $59.99.
