Electronic Arts today revealed some additional details about Burnout Paradise, and perhaps most notable for the PlayStation 3 version is the game’s support of the forthcoming Sixaxis rumble feature (technically, the new PS3 controller will be called the DualShock 3).
Burnout Paradise will have players feeling every bump, crash, scrape and collision using the rumble feature in the DualShock 3 Wireless Controller. Other features EA announced today included the ability for players to grab snapshots as they rip through opponents and collect candid Mugshots using the PlayStation Eye (mugshots only on the Xbox 360 version via the Xbox Live Vision camera); EasyDrive Online, which lets players see their friends online and connect with them instantly without having to wait or exit their game; the Open World freedom we discussed in our hands-on Burnout Paradise preview; and four single-player events (Race, Marked Man, Road Rage, and Stunt), all of which can be selected by pulling up to a stoplight in the game’s Paradise City.
