For the few people in the gaming world who haven’t yet played Call of Duty: Black Ops, Activision has dropped a big fat demo of the game on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The single-player demo is of the level titled WMD.
Call of Duty: Black Ops originally released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 before the holiday season and shattered sales records. Hence the comment about “for the few people in the gaming world.”
Regarded as one of the best levels in the first-person shooter, WMD takes players deep behind enemy lines as an elite Black Ops operative engaged in covert warfare, classified operations and explosive conflict. Players must infiltrate Soviet airspace in the SR-71 spy plane, the most advanced, high-altitude, long range strategic aircraft imaginable. Once behind enemy lines, players engage in some serious combat amid harsh conditions and scale a formidable, hidden enemy base perched atop a snow-filled mountain range.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops WMD demo is available for free on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
