Net Minds today announces Pin Your World – Free 1.0.3 for iOS, their freemium Game that challenges players to correctly place a pushpin in a map, as close as possible to the city or state whose name is displayed. After inserting a pin, the app displays a red flag on the map, corresponding to the exact location in question. A green line measures the distance between the two pins, and the shorter the distance the higher the score. Rounds are 10 seconds each with 10 rounds per game.

Pudding Games today introduces Ninja Splash 1.1 free for iOS, their tilt based, platformer puzzle game with Combo actions. Colored, cube shaped monsters are stacked seven across, and as the Ninja leaps on to each one it splashes and disappears. Consecutively splashing three monsters of the same color is a Combo, and players can score up to a 7 Combo. The higher the Combo the more potent the power-up earned. Additional power-up Skills, Items and Characters can also be purchased with gold.

The development team at smartphone game company Kwalee has been given a pass to blog and tweet about the progress of their game production, codenamed Vegemite. Giving an insightful glimpse behind their work, the Kwalee blog, featured on their website, has been recently updated with “Tales from the code mines”, sharing game statistics and displaying a dramatised visualisation of their Vegemite development.
