The latest Flappy Bird get-the-devs-rich-quick app has gone live today, as FourTwoThree Studio today released Chef Meow vs Flappy. The game isn’t a straight-up Flappy Bird cline, though, as it’s billed as “the ultimate comedic parody” of the hit game.
In Chef Meow vs Flappy, players will jump around as Chef Meow and avoid being hilariously Burned, Electrocuted, Chopped, and Smashed by obstacles and objects as they chase that deliciously annoying “Flappy Bird.” Improve your score and you’ll collect awesome rewards: Red Chef Hat, Golden Forks and Knives, Sunglasses, etc. and become the ultimate Chef Meow! Can you reach 1000?
“Our game Chef Meow vs Flappy is really a metaphor for every developer out there trying to chase the success by cloning a certain game,” says E.A. Gray, CEO of FourTwoThree Studios and an avid Pog collector. “We figured we’d chase it too, but just be funnier about it. Chef Meow is absolutely hilarious; there simply isn’t a greater parody of the ridiculously annoying damn game known famously as Flappy Bird.”
