Konami has sent DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 (DDR Hottest Party 2) dancing into retail today for the Nintendo Wii, a game that — like its predecessor — lets players dance with both their hands and feet.
With gameplay that requires physical activity via the pick-up-and-play Wii Remote mechanics, DDR Hottest Party 2 offers four-player multiplayer, Wii Remote and Nunchuck support, hit songs from the past four decades and entirely new modes.
The mutliplayer function allows for head-to-head battles in the Dance ‘n’ Defend Battle Mode, in which players use the Wii Remote to do battle. Other new modes include the non-stop Course Mode, the ability to unlock hidden features in Groove Arena Mode, and the all-new Hottest Training Mode.
DDR Hottest Party 2 for the Wii also lets players incorporate their Mii into the game, complementing the new characters exclusive to the game. It also has new stages with enhanced effects on more than 50 unique dance environments.
DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 is available today for the Wii for $69.99. Remember, that includes the dance pad, hence the expensive price.
