Family can be difficult, but when it’s a crime family, it can be deadly in the darkly amusing British comedy film Down Terrace. Down Terrace took home the Next Wave Award at 2009’s Fantastic Fest and the 2009 Raindance Award at the British Independent Film Awards. Recently the film released on DVD from Magnolia Home Entertainment, and now a brand-new retail copy of the DVD can be yours via this sweepstakes.
Down Terrace stars real life father and son Bob and Robin Hill who play the heads of a crime family struggling to keep their business together as infighting and a police informant in their midst threaten to unravel it completely. The “dark and hilarious” comedy (according to Entertainment Weekly) alternates unexpectedly between shocking violence and realistic and moving family drama. The DVD’s bonus features include commentary and deleted scenes, as well as carious screen tests and even a short film.
