Berlin, Germany – Michael Winter Game- und Softwaredesign today is pleased to announce that their first update for Letter Mania, is now available exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch. In Letter Mania, it is still the players job to form words out of differently colored letters.
However, the gameplay has undergone a complete overhaul: The maximum length of a word has been reduced from 16 to 8 and a new multiplier has been added going up all the way to 8 if the user keeps forming words in quick succession. In addition to that the visual appearance of the game has changed and all buttons have been removed in favor of a more gesture-oriented gameplay.
We have received a lot of positive feedback since the release of Letter Mania way back in June, but there also was a lot of criticism. People wanted the game to look and feel different, they wanted an even faster type of gameplay and they were craving for a more gesture-oriented approach. I am very pleased with this update. It has changed the game for the better. I know people will like the new look and feel we created. said Michael Winter, founder of Michael Winter Game- und Softwaredesign.
