Grey’s Anatomy isn’t just for primetime TV enthusiasts or “the ladeez” anymore, as Ubisoft has announced they’re working on a videogame version of the hit Grey’s Anatomy TV series for the Nintendo Wii, PC and Nintendo DS.
Grey’s Anatomy: The Video Game is scheduled for release sometime during the first half of this year.
In the game, “the doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital will deal with life-or-death consequences on a daily basis” — which we presume means you’ll have to either use surgical precision with your Wii Remote or be faced with taking a Nunchuk to the head.
Actual gameplay specifics are still unknown, but it’s safe to presume that with a Wii and DS version, Ubisoft is going to make use of the motion-sensitive and touch-sensitive capabilities of each system. As for the PC version, we’ll just hope it’s not a point-and-click adventure that will lead ladies to the dressing room of Patrick Dempsey.
