A new Harvest Moon game shipped today for the Wii, giving players their first Wiimote-powered feeling of actually farming. Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility will set you back $49.99.
In Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility, players find themselves in a troubled island town in serious trouble. The Mother Tree that once watched over the island has disappeared, the Harvest Goddess is missing, the island has lost its connection with nature, and the inhabitants don’t know what to do.
Players — charged with saving the day, of course — must help rebuild the island by working the land, befriending and raising animals, nurturing friendships and creating a family — all with the Wii Remote.
