Three-time Best Actor Academy Award nominee Johnny Depp shines in The Rum Diary, the latest film homage to iconic author Hunter S. Thompson. The all-star cast also includes Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight, Battle Los Angeles), Michael Rispoli (Kick-Ass, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3), Amber Heard (Zombieland), Richard Jenkins (Best Actor, The Visitor, 2007), and Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar, Public Enemies) in the story of an American journalist from New York who takes on a freelance job in Puerto Rico for a local newspaper during the 1950s and struggles to find a balance between island culture and the expatriates who live there.
