Imagine a game that teaches your children the coordination of building but doesn’t create a mess of toy blocks in your living room. Wombi has created a social construction game called Wombi Tower – a game that can be downloaded on all iOS and Android products. Created for ages three and up, this virtual board game offers a social opportunity for building (and, of course, the fun part of knocking the tower down). Wombi Tower can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play October 25, 2013.
The game creators at Wombi are introducing a new app called Wombi Tower, a digital board game that challenges players to have strategic eyes and steady hands. In a virtual world, players are presented with a building challenge to stack parts of a house as high as they will go without falling over. This game can be played with an unlimited amount of players, including solo. Challengers take turns carefully placing each piece on the structure, hoping they won’t be the ones who knock it down. Whoever causes the tower to fall loses.
With the game’s simple click-and-drag touchscreen method, players move construction pieces from a crane to an ever-growing building. The challenge is to build a house as high as it can go without it falling down. All the while, a rather anxious badger is supervising the construction and making distracting faces.
Wombi Tower includes colorful animations, funny sound effects, and light music. This creates a playful, fun atmosphere that is appropriate for all ages.
