There’s a new Wii U Deluxe Set on the way next week, as Nintendo announced it will debut a new Wii U Deluxe Set that highlights two of the biggest names in video games: Mario and Luigi. Available in stores Nov. 1, the new Wii U Deluxe set model will come with two games, New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U. Both games will appear on a single disc.
The new Wii U Deluxe set configuration will carry an MSRP of $299.99. It will replace the existing Wii U Deluxe Set, which included NintendoLand. It does not, however, replace the Zelda bundle that recently released.
For fans who want to experience NintendoLand, the game isn’t going away. After Nov. 1 it will still be able to be purchased individually in stores or as a download in the Nintendo eShop. It will carry a new suggested price of $29.99.
As mentioned, the new Wii U Deluxe Set doesn’t replace the recently released Zelda bundle. Why? Because that limited-edition Wii U Deluxe bundle with a download code for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, a GamePad controller with Zelda-inspired art and a download code for a digital copy of Hyrule Historia is still available in stores. That bundle carries an MSRP of $299.99. You can grab it here from Amazon while supplies last.
New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U are two of the best games on Wii U. The games offer players two separate platforming adventures – one starring Mario and one starring Luigi – each filled with dozens of creative levels.
Both Mario and Luigi control differently, giving each game a distinct feel and challenge. Both games showcase the refreshing originality and game play that can only be found on Nintendo systems.
