Normally we don’t run many of the Xbox Live Arcade game-release announcements, but this week’s is so cool that we simply can’t resist: Missile Command is going to hit Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, the Fourth of July.
We’re talking Missile Command, people!
The enhanced version of Missile Command for Xbox Live Arcade has players acting as regional commander of three anti-missile batteries defending six cities in their zone. Players must act fast to fend off the onslaught of missiles and keep their cities intact. Gliding across the sky, players complete levels by taking out all enemy weaponry. At the end of a level, players can earn bonus points for the more cities that remain and the fewer missiles that are used.
And did we mention it will include two-player co-op via either Xbox Live or on the same box?
Missile Command will be available worldwide this week for 400 Microsoft Points.
