Electronic Arts today finally officially unveiled Need for Speed Undercover, the next chapter in the company’s racing franchise. The game is set to release this holiday, when long-time NFS fans will once again be able to return to their roots and engage in high-speed cop chases and highway battles.
Other than those preliminary details, however, most other information about the game is still being closely guarded. What we can tell you, though, is that Need for Speed undercover will feature international movie star Maggie Q as the lead character for the game’s live-action sequences.
Maggie Q. has starred in Mission Impossible III and Live Free or Die Hard. In Need for Speed Undercover, she will play Federal Agent Chase Linh, a seductive handler who recruits and guides players as they go undercover by taking dangerous jobs and competing in races to infiltrate and takedown a ruthless international crime syndicate.
Need for Speed Undercover is scheduled to ship for PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on Nov. 18 and in Europe on Nov. 21.
