The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Rock Band will soon got their second complete downloadable album, as MTV Games and Harmonix announced The Cars’ 1978 self-titled debut will hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 27 and May 29, respectively.
Before you laugh, or worse yet, ask who The Cars are, you should know that The Car’s debut album has been hailed by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album inspired the release of future songs such as as “Good Times Roll,” “My Best Friend’s Girl,” “Just What I Needed,” “You’re All I’ve Got Tonight” and “Moving in Stereo.”
Each of the downloadable tracks listed below is available right now on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace. The songs will set you back $1.99 per track on PS3 (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) or $14.99 for the album (1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360).
