Today at the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft and Tecmo’s Team Ninja announced that Ninja Gaiden 2 will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 platform. That’s right: there will be no PS3 version, at least not in its core form.
In Ninja Gaiden 2, players will once again assume the role of Ryu Hayabusa as they guide him on a quest to avenge his clan and prevent the destruction of the human race.
Ninja Gaiden 2 will be available worldwide in 2008 for the Xbox 360.
Although the core game will be an Xbox 360 exclusive, Team Ninja of course didn’t rule out a future PS3 version similar to Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
