Ninja Gaiden 2 for Xbox 360 has gone gold today, meaning the game is content complete and right on track for its ship date of June 3.
Although most screenshots to date don’t look much different from the original Ninja Gaiden on the first Xbox, Microsoft (which is publishing the game) and Team NINJA (which is developing it) have told DailyGame that Ninja Gaiden 2 features a “new and improved game engine, developed from the ground up exclusively for Xbox 360.”
In Ninja Gaiden II, gamers once again guide Ryu Hayabusa on a mission to avenge his clan, only this time, he is also trying to save the entire human race as well. Ninja Gaiden 2 features a new auto-health regeneration system, new enemies and fast-paced combat that includes finishing/execution moves.
