PAIN is one of the most viscerally and comically rewarding PS3 games available, with its cow-launching antics having taken place in both a downtown level and an amusement park. Today, Sony provided the first details on the next environment coming to PAIN, as well as some insight into a few enhancements coming along with the next game update.
Called PAIN: Movie Studio, the next environment will launch in November via the PlayStation Network and, by the looks of the video below, be absolutely hilarious. Such comedy is par for the course with PAIN, but this one looks to top it in every way.
In addition to the new environment, PAIN: Movie Studio will include multiple gameplay updates, including more than one launcher location (it will have three, all selectable on the fly), single-player explosives, a new “Cratetastic” single-player mode, an unlockable free character, a H-O-R-S-E mode for multiplayer matches, and a Bowling Mode.
The H-O-R-S-E and Bowling modes were included the original PAIN area but did not make it into Amusement Park.
Neither pricing nor an exact release date were revealed, but with development already well under way, PAIN: Movie Studio will surely hit by Thanksgiving weekend.
