EA’s upcoming Rock Band videogame is set to become the first to offer digitally distributed game levels based on full-length albums. In some respects this isn’t news, as few games have ever offered levels based on full-length albums, but the concept is still unique.
The Who’s “Who’s Next” album will be the first full-length album available as a digitally distributed level. Universal Music Group and other top record labels and publishers will provide songs after that.
