With the E3 announcement that Rock Band 2 will support all Rock Band 1 downloadable content, today’s news that Rock Band is getting Nine Inch Nails and Shinedown tracks tomorrow will be welcome news to fans of those bands who don’t like to waste money.
Starting July 22, Harmonix and MTV Games will add tracks from Nine Inch Nails and Shinedown to the Rock Band Music Store catalog on Xbox 360. The songs will be available on July 25 via the PS3’s PlayStation Store.
Each of the tracks listed below will be available for $1.99 per track (160 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360). The NIN songs will also be available as a full pack for $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points).
The NIN three-pack includes the psychotic audio thrill ride “Burn” from the Natural Born Killers soundtrack, “Capital G” from their studio release Year Zero, and “Last” from the band’s second studio release, EP Broken.
Shinedown, meanwhile, will have two tracks online: “Devour,” from their current album The Sound of Madness, and the never-released “Junkies For Fame,” which is available for the first time as a single exclusively to Rock Band.
