Cats eyes and genetic relationship between Humans and Chimpanzees all had to be overcome in order for the results to be convincing and repeatable. No special knowledge is required to use ‘What Animal?’ which hides its smarts under an intuitive interface.
What Animal? finds the matches that are most surprisingly similar within its database of animal photos. These are display with a percentage score which represents exactly how much more the face in question looks like the matched animal than the general population.
