The first-person shooter genre may be crowded, but the upper echelon is still sparsely populated. Enter Section 8: Prejudice, a new sci-fi FPS that hopes to find itself among the latter group. Section 8: Prejudice takes place in the distant future, when humanity calls upon its most fearless defenders to confront an emerging threat determined to eradicate all human life as we know it. Fortunately, we’ve got something going right here that’s much less consequential: we’re giving away a free Windows PC version of the game.
In Section 8: Prejudice, gamers play as Alex Corde while trying to discover the sinister series of betrayals that now threaten humanity’s survival. In the FPS’ multiplayer modes, up to 32 players can participate in a strategic “Conquest” mode or a Horde-like mode against AI opponents called “Swarm.” Players can strategically spawn anywhere on the battlefield to assist allies or ambush enemies, customizing their loadout weapons, ammo and equipment to suit their playstyle — then call-in deployables and vehicles when and where necessary to gain tactical advantages.
