Wheaton, Illinois – TinkTank, Inc. is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of its KoKoKo language learning app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. KoKoKo is based on a traditional Korean game contextualized for children 2-6 years old to learn body parts in English and Korean.
KoKoKo stresses a communicative approach to language, as children learn in context with a purpose. Even with limited knowledge of the target language, children will quickly pick it up via repetitive phrases, highlighted hints, and fun reinforcement responses to their inputs. Intermission pages will also help engage the children throughout the game. As a result, the children’s vocabulary will grow and their ears will be trained to distinguish the target language sounds.
Getting beyond the myriad of flashcards apps on the market, KoKoKo is graphically appealing and content driven, said Noella Chung, President of TinkTank, who is excited to bring to market a product that is an engaging teaching tool without the loss of the fun component of play.
