Say what you will about Frozen, but Guardians of the Galaxy made for an incredible book-end to 2014 for Disney. Yes, Guardians of the Galaxy was a Marvel film, but Disney owns the comic-book creators now and has went all-out to make sure what could’ve been a niche film got as many people to see it as possible. But we know some of you haven’t, at least not at home. That’s why we’re giving away three free Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-ray sets in this new contest.
Guardians of the Galaxy comes from the same studio behind Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, so you know it’s got some legs behind it. Unlike those more-terrestrial films, Guardians of the Galaxy follows Peter Quill as he tries to evade a villain named Ronan who wishes to take over the universe. Quill has to forge an uneasy truce with four misfits: Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon; Groot, a tree-like humanoid; Gamora; and Drax the Destroyer.
The movie was such a hit that Disney turned some of its characters into video-game toys for Disney Infinity 2.0, as shown above. But Disney’s also gone all-out with its deluxe Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-ray sets, three of which we’re giving away here.
