New York, NY – eoz games today is pleased to announce Word Cracker 1.0, its new gaming title for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Put the vowels back where they belong and make words – there is no word game like it. Word Cracker shows consonants that are part of a word, and the player must figure out which vowels go where to complete the word. Vowels can be slid into place, anywhere in the word. The goal is to make as many words as possible in the allotted time. More points are earned for words that are hard, that have consecutive vowels and that start or end with a vowel.
Word Cracker contains over 7,000 words and includes Easy, Hard and Random levels. There are two Show Spaces Modes: V_W_LS mode helps the beginner by showing lines where the vowels should be placed, and VWLS mode does not show any lines. A player may also use the Hints feature to indicate the placement of the vowels.
In Solo, a player tries to beat his or her own best score. In Head-to-Head, a player completes a game and then challenges a friend to play the exact same game to see who gets the higher score. Players can choose a duration of 1, 3, or 5 minutes, or unlimited time. Word Cracker is integrated with Game Center leaderboards.
