While Xbox One owners are fully engaged in the Titanfall beta (ourselves included), owners of an Xbox 360 still have plenty of online multiplayer action to hop into. The difference: the Xbox 360 gamers have a full game right at their fingertips, not just a beta. That’s because World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is now available for download.
World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition technically released last week, but its availability was seemingly missed by quite a few people. That was a puzzling development, considering the popularity of the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition pavilion at E3 2013. So, we thought we’d issue a little reminder here to folks that the game’s ready and waiting for your downloading pleasure.
Developed by Wargaming West (formerly Day 1 Studios), World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is free-to-play for Xbox Live Gold account holders, with an additional seven-day timed trial for all other Xbox Live account holders.
Custom built for Xbox 360, World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition brings the franchise’s trademark team-based tactical online tank warfare action and free-to-play accessibility to the millions of dedicated Xbox Live gamers around the globe.
The title features revamped controls, matchmaking, a new user interface and other components to take advantage of the Xbox 360’s technological capabilities and online features. World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition also features in-game purchases including premium tanks, consumables and premium accounts to boost experience and currency accrual rates.
World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition launched with more than 100 iconic tanks from three separate nations: the United States of America, Germany and the United Kingdom. The title will be further expanded with future content downloads consisting of new tanks, nations and more in the future.
